vintage print, published 1932, by George Harrap, for "The Emperor's New Clothes",

from Hans Christian Andersen's 'Fairy Tales'.  "But he has nothing on at all", said a little child

illustration by Arthur Rackham (1867-1939):  a major Edwardian illustrator who specialized in magical, mystical and legendary themes.  (his work influenced the surrealists).

Authentic vintage book plate on shiny cream paper, all colour lithograph, with tissue guard page + caption re the Fairy Tale.

No folds or crumples, but a tiny tear outside image on edge of paper.
