'Modes et Manieres' was one of the most exclusive lifestyle publications to emerge from Paris, being current between 1912 to 1922. Publication was limited to an edition size of only 300 - thus rare and highly collectable today. The edition was illustrated by Barbier and served as a preview of his Art Deco masterworks, chronicling the 1920's Parisian creed of 'good times, beautiful people, erotic dalliance and the exotic lifestyle'.
